What I am currently working on
As the Director of Corporate Facilities and Logistics for Meow Wolf INC, I oversee10 buildings including our 54K sqft production facility where we create the show elements of our immersive environments and exhibitions. It also includes a 7000 sqft film studio for all of our in-house content creation needs. Totaling over 87,000 sqft in Santa Fe alone I ensure the repairs, preventative maintenance and inspection of every facility. I also manage the internal upgrades, tenant improvements and CAPEX projects for each location. We work hard to be responsible in the sourcing of green products and have helped build a DEI matrix for vendors and other suppliers for our Purchasing team to pull from, focusing on businesses from low income neighborhoods, women owned businesses and other B-Corps. I work in collaboration with City and State officials in New Mexico in addition to Nevada, Texas and Colorado. The Facilities Team consists of 5 people from manager to custodians and they deliver a high level of customer service for all INC employees and a high standard of cleanliness for all of our buildings.
The Logistics Team supports all facets of the company from Merchandise to new projects in construction and drives all shipping processes throughout. Logistics handles anything the company can throw at us, from planning and executing the crane work for the load-in of 23 shipping containers of large scale artwork through the 5th story roof of one of our new buildings, to ensuring that high value tech components from collaborating artists in Mexico arrive safe and sound to a project in Nevada, to driving extremely fragile artwork for museum display to it's next show location. Comprised of 4 employees, this department is small but mighty. The Logistics Team consistently delivers high quality work, never misses deadlines or and strive to be as fiscally responsible in our materials purchasing, striving to reuse and repurpose as much packing and crating as possible resulting in a significant cost savings for our production budgets. We use as many local carriers as possible and have built a network of reliable drivers and vendors to help support our efforts.

In my role as Director I also identify and acquire new real estate that supports INC functions which includes offices, production facilities, warehouses and other distribution facilities. These are sometimes short term agreements that support the construction of our new projects. And other times this is a multi year process to help grow our facilities with a campus expansion via land acquisition and new construction.

Efforts I have spearheaded in my time and various roles at Meow Wolf include the streamlining of purchasing processes for our production teams, provided detailed tracking of Logistics costs for projects, implemented tracking and reporting of consumables inventory to Accounting, implemented company wide shipping and receiving SOPs, created hiring plans for Logistics hires for new projects and onboarded all new Shipping and Receiving Coordinators for INC and all new exhibitions, developed and implemented several facilities management processes and protocols, drove employee growth space strategy and implemented a new CMMS to track all maintenance and inspection for better reporting, procurement, budget projecting and company accountability.

About
Where I Am Now
For many years I enjoyed my time up and down the West Coast as I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2012 my work took me abroad where I experienced new sights and sounds. My operations skills took me all over the US, Portugal, Canada and Costa Rica. In June 2018 I put down roots in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In 2019 I bought my first house and have enjoyed my time since building out my home and garden with my partner Brendan and our very big dog, Ben.
What I Have Done
In my early years, I was a horse trainer and riding instructor teaching children and adults. Burning Man became a huge part of my life in 2006 and launched me into the world of large art installations and event production.
Since then, I have collaborated with artists and event producers all over the world to help bring their creations to life. I've worked on both micro- festivals and festivals with attendance in the 100,000's.

What Am I Up To?
I am constantly trying to feed my brain with Art of every medium from many different cultures. I enjoy designing spaces and leading teams to create the perfect event, environment or art piece. I love working with heavy machinery and job site safety is of the utmost importance.

I'm an avid gardener and illustrator and enjoy creating with my hands on paper, with fabric, and natural earthen materials. I also love hiking and camping in New Mexico.
